Works on Paper

The solo exhibition Sonnet Comet brings together a decade of Clare's work in poetry, printmaking, and hand papermaking. For many years she has been interested in the tension between traditional poetic forms like the sonnet and the evolutionary constraints of our over-four-billion-years-old planet. Sonnet Comet was on display at the Community Arts Partnership gallery in Ithaca, NY in 2026 and a virtual version of the exhibit is available online.
